
XC Heads to 50th Paul Short Run

The Syracuse cross country teams are back in action on Saturday at the Paul Short Run.
Meet information:
Location: Bethlehem, Pa.
Time: Men – 9:30 a.m. | Women – 10:15 a.m.

About the Meet:
The race will be the 50th anniversary of the event, one of the largest meets in the country. 164 collegiate women's teams and 150 collegiate men's teams are entered. There are also over 160 high school teams competing on Friday.
The men and women are both entered in the open portion of the event, with the men's 8k coming at 9:30 a.m., followed by the women's 6k 45 minutes later.
Orange Entries:
Lauren Augustyn, Baneet Bains, Sarah Cobb, Beatriz Fernandes, Leah Futey, Justus Holden-Betts, Caroline Kirby, Sarah Lawson, Olivia Shattuck and Bethany Steiner will race for the women.
The men will send Julian Franjieh, Joey Hendershot, Solomon Holden-Betts, Patrick Malone, Kamari Miller and Gabriel Planty.
Ranking the Orange:
The Orange women and men both check in at No. 23 in this week's USTFCCCA Poll after each team took 12th at the Nuttycombe Invitational last week.
The women rose five spots in the poll, while the men fell four.
