Puck Drop
​- A few months later than expected by Syracuse and Minnesota Duluth will finally meet for the first time this week as the Orange head for the western shores of Lake Superior for a pair of games against the No. 4 Bulldogs.
- The Orange were meant to play at Minnesota Duluth to open the season in late September, but the effects of Hurricane Helene grounded Syracuse.
- Syracuse enters the series on the backend of two AHA wins over Robert Morris, both 4-1 victories at Tennity Ice Pavilion, rounding out the first half of the season with seven wins and a 5-3-0 mark in conference play.
- The Bulldogs are on a six-game run without a loss, going 5-0-1 in that span. The lone non-victory was a tie at St. Cloud State in that series opener.
- Thursday and Friday's games, set for a 3 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET puck drops, respectively, will air on BTN+.

Scoring Every Which Way
- Newcomer Bryn Saarela has been a Swiss Army Knife for the Orange so far this season and getting it done on both ends of the ice.
- Saarela is currently ranked ninth in Division I with three game-winning goals, and is tied for the league lead as well. She is 22nd nationally in goals per game average (0.53), 40th in points per game (0.95), 20th in power play goals (3), and tied for first across Division I with a pair of short-handed goals.
- The Denver, Colorado product is the only player in AHA play this year with multiple short-handed goals, a league hat trick, and three power-play goals. She is also the only player in the AHA to record an even-strength goal, a short-handed goal, a power-play goal, and a game-winning goal during league play.

- Graduate student and captain Tatum White is one of the program's all-timers in the faceoff circle.
- Since the 2020-21 season, White has won 1,069 draws, ranking fifth all-time in program history. She is just 71 wins away from moving into fourth place, with Margot Scharfe (2010-14) occupying fourth with 1,139 faceoff wins.
- White now averages nearly 214 faceoff wins per year.
- Allie Kelley continues to storm up the Syracuse all-time career saves record. Her 1,700 saves are currently fourth all-time in program history. Kelley is closing in on Lucy Schoedel (1785) in third and Jenn Gilligan (2156) in second all-time at Syracuse.Â
- Kelley is the active career saves leader with 3,923 including her time at Quinnipiac and St. Anslem. She is currently third all-time in NCAA history. Lovisa Selander (RPI) is first all-time 4,167 saves from 2016-19. Kelley needs 245 more saves to become the NCAA all-time saves leader.
