Second-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack's Syracuse women's basketball team continues to climb in national rankings, jumping three spots in this week's USA Today/WCBA Coaches Poll to No. 20. The Orange (20-4, 10-3 ACC) defended the JMA Wireless Dome twice last week, notching victories over Georgia Tech and No. 15 Louisville.
'Cuse took down their fourth top-15 opponent of the season with the win over No. 15 Louisville, thanks to a 29-point performance by Dyaisha Fair that included two game-winning free throws with two seconds left. Syracuse secured their first win over the Cardinals since Feb. 9, 2020, and tied its win total from last season.
The Orange's 20-4 record secured the second 20-win season under Legette-Jack. The 10-3 record in ACC games is the most conference wins since the 2018-19 season.
Two road games await Syracuse this week, starting with Thursday's 6 p.m. contest against Miami (ACCNX). The Orange will then face Virginia in Charlottesville on Sunday, Feb. 18, on ACC Network.
Tickets are available now for the final two home games of the regular season. Fans can purchase tickets online (cuse.com/tickets) or by calling the JMA Wireless Dome Box Office (888-DOME-TIX).
