Orange Ranked #22 in Latest AP Top-25 Poll

With the ACC Tournament in the review and the NCAA Tournament on the horizon, the Syracuse women's basketball team is comfortably in the conversation as an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Syracuse checked in at No. 22 in the Week 19 Associated Press (AP) Top-25 Poll this week, dropping two spots from last week (No. 20).Â
The Orange are 23-7 overall and finished 13-5 in the ACC in third place after being picked to finish ninth in the preseason poll. SU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack earned ACC Coach of the Year honors while fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair was named All-ACC First Team for the second-straight year. Freshman Alyssa Latham picked up All-Freshman Team honors, becoming the first 'Cuse rookie to do so since Kamilla Cardoso in 2021.Â
Syracuse now waits to learn its selection and next opponent for the NCAA Tournament. The 2024 NCAA Tournament Selection Show airs on ESPN at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 17.
