The Syracuse cross country teams will look to build on a season that saw the men finish ninth in the nation and the women win the NCAA Northeast Regional in 2024.
The Orange will start the 2024 campaign on Aug. 31 at the Harry Lang Invitational, hosted by Colgate, before heading to Penn State two weeks later (Sept. 13) for the SpiSpiked Shoe Invitational.
The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (Sept. 27), always a competitive meet with some of the nation's top teams, falls earlier in the schedule this year, with the Badgers set to host pre-Nationals later in the season.
October kicks off at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 5 at Lehigh, before 'Cuse splits up to race in a pair of meets the weekend of Oct. 18-19. Some members of the team will head to Princeton to race at the Princeton Fall Classic (Oct. 18), while others will make their second regular-season trip to Madison, Wisconsin for Pre-Nationals on Oct. 19.
The regular season concludes at Cornell at the John Reif Memorial on Oct. 25.
NC State will host the ACC Championships this season on Nov. 1. Both teams finished in the top-four at last year's event, with the men taking the runner-up spot.
The women will look to defend their NCAA regional title two weeks later in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
The season culminates with the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 23 at Wisconsin.
