
Orange Look to Complete Season Sweep of Boston College on Friday

Syracuse (13-6, 5-4 ACC) looks to complete the season series sweep against Boston College (14-7, 3-6 ACC) on Friday evening at the Women's Building after securing a thrilling five-set victory earlier this week in Chestnut Hill.
The Orange enter the weekend in the top half of the ACC standings with a 5-4 conference record, holding wins over Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Cal, Duke, and Boston College. Syracuse has dropped matches to three ranked opponents in #6 Louisville, #6 Stanford, and #21 North Carolina, as well as Virginia.
MOMENTUM FROM FIVE-SET THRILLER
- Syracuse captured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Boston College on Tuesday (19-25, 25-15, 27-25, 30-28, 15-12) in one of the season's most competitive matches.
- The Orange rallied from a 1-2 deficit to secure the comeback win.

- Tehya Maeva set a new career high with 54 assists in the five-set contest.

- Lea'ea transferred from UC Irvine where she amassed 103 kills and 87 blocks across 114 sets.
YAMADA ANCHORING THE DEFENSE
- Libero Rana Yamada leads the team with 254 digs at 3.53 digs per set.
- Yamada's 25 digs in this week's win against Boston College was the most by a Syracuse player since 2021.
