Junior Year: Brooks made his debut with the Orange against COLGATE…He played two minutes and grabbed one rebound…Brooks also saw playing time against BINGHAMTON, GEORGIA TECH, ALBANY and WEST VIRGINIA.
High School: Brooks played basketball for four years at Saranac Central High School…He was coached by Gary Castine…The Chiefs reached the state semifinals after winning the Section 7 title in Brooks’ senior year…Saranac Central was 22-4 that season…Brooks was a team captain a team MVP his senior campaign…He received all-league and all-area recognition…Brooks averaged 15.0 points an outing…He also played soccer for four seasons at Saranac Central.
