BONAVENTURE, BINGHAMTON, SETON HALL, ST. JOHN'S and PROVIDENCE.
High School: Gabriel played basketball for three years at Carbondale Area High School…He was coached by Joe Farrell…The Chargers were 20-5 his sophomore season, 19-6 in his junior year, and 25-4 in Gabriel’s senior campaign…The Chargers were the Lack League D2 North champions in 2003 and the District 2 AA champions in 2004…Gabriel was a team captain his senior year…Gabriel earned the Scranton Times All-Region Player of the Year award in 2004 and was an All-Region First Team selection.
