2002-03: Recipient of the team's Dr. Robert and Pat Barlow Award for academic and athletic excellence…set season-best times in the 200 freestyle (1:39.44) and the 200 backstroke (1:49.88) which placed him among the conference's top 16 swimmers in those events at the BIG EAST Championship…he finished eighth in the 200 freestyle and 16th in the 200 backstroke…scored points for the Orange men in the 500 freestyle with his 13th place finish (4:33.04)…swam with SU's fifth-place 800 freestyle relay team at the conference championship…recorded a career-best time of 4:28.82 in the 500 freestyle to notch a top 10 finish (10th) at the prestigious Nike Cup…was fourth in the 200 backstroke at the Nike Cup with a time of 1:51.87…finished first in the 200 freestyle in dual meets against St. Bonaventure, Colgate and Villanova…member of the Fall 2002 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
2001-02: Saved his fastest times of the season for the BIG EAST Championship…set season-best times in the prelims of the 500 freestyle (4:34.61), the 100 backstroke (51.89) and the 200 backstroke (1:51.48)… finished 14th overall in the finals of the 100 backstroke with a time of 51.99…was 15th in the 200 backstroke (1:52.57) and 16th in the 500 freestyle (4:36.78)…competed with SU's 800 freestyle relay team at the conference meet…won three races in a dual-meet against St. Bonaventure…named to the BIGEAST Academic All-Star team…earned a spot on the Spring 2002 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
High School: Swam four years at Clayton Valley High School for coach Matt Chamberlain…team posted a 31-3 dual-meet record during his career…swam the 100 backstroke as a freshman…competed in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle events as a sophomore…specialized in the 200 freestyle his junior and senior seasons…set a school record in the 100 backstroke(51.83) his senior year…earned All-America honors in the 100 backstroke his senior year…his career-best time in the 200 backstroke was 1:51.18…his personal-best time in the 200 freestyle was 1:41.98…his top time in the 500 freestyle was 4:36.42…served as team captain his senior year…team won the NCS Championship in 1999…his club team, the Terrapin Swim Team, won a national championship in 2000…named first-team all-league in 2000 and 2001…earned Academic All-America honors in 2000 and 2001…finished second in the 800 freestyle relay at junior nationals.
