2003-04: BIG EAST Championship point-scorer…member of the school record-setting 200 freestyle relay team that finished sixth at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 1:36.12…helped post a team top time in the 400 medley relay (3:52.19)…also competed at the Championship in the 800 and 400 freestyle relays…both relays placed seventh…her relay finished third in the 800 freestyle relay at the Nike Cup with a school record time of 7:29.61…had two first-place finishes at Colgate in the 100 butterfly (59.68) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:38.46)… finished third at the Sonny Werblin Invitational in the 100 freestyle (54.00)…finished first nine times throughout the season.

High School: During the summer of 2003, Martinez participated in the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic…was honored in December 2002 by the Puerto Rico Department of Recreation and Sports as the Most Outstanding Female Swimmer for all women ages 19 and under…competed in the Puerto Rico Athletic Alliance where she set several records…a member of the Puerto Rico Juvenile National Team beginning at age 12…participated in the Caribbean Inter-Island Championship (CISC) in 1996 (held in Puerto Rico), 1998 (held in Barbados), 2000 (held in Aruba) and 2002 (held in Curacao)…participated in the 1999, 2001 and 2003 CCCAN (Campeonatos Centroamericanos y Del Caribe Aficionados de Natacion) which were held in Columbia, Dominican Republic and Mexico, respectively…member of the Senior National Team that participated in the Centroamerican Games in San Salvador, El Salvador in 2002 where she won two individual bronze medals (200 IM and 400 IM) and two gold medals in the 200 x 4 and 100 x 4 relays.
