Was named to the First-Team All-BIG EAST • Became the fastest player in Syracuse women’s basketball history to reach the 1,000-point plateau • Only member of the team to start all 32 contests • Led the team with 8.8 rebounds and 16.9 points per game which were the fifth and sixth best marks in the BIG EAST, respectively • At Bowling Green in the WNIT, she tallied 13 points and nine rebounds • Against Canisius in the WNIT, she registered her 13th double-double of the season in her final game at the Carrier Dome behind game highs of 26 points and 12 rebounds • Against St. John’s in the BIG EAST Tournament, she recorded her 12th double-double with 10 points and 15 boards • Against Providence, she capped her final regular season game at the Carrier Dome with her 11th double-double behind 16 points and 10 rebounds and dished out four assists in her 60th consecutive start • At West Virginia, she led the Orange with 27 points behind a career-high 12 field goals • At Notre Dame, she notched her 10th double-double with 16 points and a career-high tying 11 defensive rebounds • Against Georgetown, she posted her 14th career 20-plus point game with a game-high 23 points along with six boards • Against DePaul, she registered her ninth double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds to go along with a team-high four steals • At. St. John’s, she recorded her 13th career 20-plus point game with 21 points as well as picking up nine rebounds • Against South Florida, she recorded her second consecutive double-double, eight of the year, with 21 points and 11 rebounds • At Louisville, she notched her seventh double-double of the season with a team-high 18 points and 10 rebounds • Against Villanova, she scored 10 points and collected a team-best six rebounds • At Marquette, she recorded her sixth double-double, second consecutive, of the season and led the team in scoring for the third consecutive game with 22 points and 11 rebounds • Jones was tabbed to the BIG EAST honor roll for the third time this season for her performance against Pittsburgh • Against Pittsburgh, she led the team in scoring for the second consecutive game with 23 points behind career-highs in field goals (22) and 3-point field goals attempts (9) and recorded her fifth double-double with 10 boards in her 50th straight career start • At UConn, she scored 15 points • Against Seton Hall, she scored eight points and had a team-high eight rebounds • At Cincinnati, she knocked down the front-end of a one-and-one to seal the win for Syracuse en route to a 12-point showing • Against Rutgers, she scored 16 points behind a 10-of-13 display from the line, setting a career-high in free throw attempts • At Georgetown, she scored 13 points and collected a game-high eight rebounds • Against Princeton, she scored 19 points, securing her 11th game of the season in double-digits • At St. Bonaventure, totaled 13 points, nine boards and a game-best four steals • Against Ohio, she tied a career-high with five steals and scored six points with 11 boards • Against Niagara, she scored eight points, collected five boards and registered three steals • Against Delaware State, she accounted for 10 points and four boards • Against Lehigh, she scored 18 points, picked up nine boards and posted three steals • Jones reeled off a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line, which is tied for the second-best single-game free throw percentage performance in school history • Jones was named to the BIG EAST honor roll for the second consecutive week for her performances against Longwood, Alaska Anchorage and Jackson State • Against Longwood, Jones netted her fourth double-double of the season with 11 defensive boards, 13 in all, and 11 points • Against Alaska Anchorage, she accrued a career-best 15 rebounds to go along with her 21 points, two assists and one steal • Against Jackson State, she drained 22 points with nine boards, three steals and four assists • Jones earned a spot on the first honor roll of the 2008-09 BIG EAST season for her performances in the first four games of the season • Against Portland State, had 24 points and 13 rebounds • At Ohio State, she posted a career-tying five steals and sunk a game-best five free throws to accompany her 14 points and four offensive boards • At UMES, she posted her ninth-career double-double with 10 defensive boards to along with 16 points and two swipes • At Siena, she topped her career high by draining a game-high 33 points.
