THE SERIES
Syracuse and Seton Hall will meet for the 14th time at home on Sunday. The Orange leads the all-time series, 7-6. In program history, Syracuse has had more victories against only one other BIG EAST opponent (Providence, 10) than it has against the Pirates.
THANK YOU SENIORS
Sunday's game is the final regular-season home contest for seniors Megan Bellingham and Marjory Elwell. They will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
Bellingham started every game for the Orange this season until she was sidelined by an injury against DePaul. She leads the team in scoring this season with nine points (3g, 3a). In 2008, she led SU in scoring with 17 points (8g, 1a) and earned All-BIG EAST Third Team honors. She is eligible for a fifth year, as she received a medical redshirt for the 2009 season.
Elwell has played in four games this season. She has played in 33 games in her career, starting 16 for the Orange.
SIX AND COUNTING
Syracuse recorded its sixth victory of the season on Friday against Rutgers. That total is the Orange's highest win total since the 2007 season when SU won seven contests. The last time Syracuse won more than seven games was in 2004 when it posted eight victories.
