WASHINGTON, D.C. - For the second time this season, Syracuse (24-2, 11-2) and Georgetown (18-6, 8-5) will bring top 10 rankings to the court when they square off. This time, the fifth-rated Orange visits the No. 10 Hoyas on Thursday, Feb. 18 for a 7 p.m. clash at the Verizon Center.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2. Fans can listen to the action via the Syracuse ISP Radio Network and its flagship TK 99 (99.5 FM). The audio stream of the radio broadcast will be available on SUathletics.com as part of Orange All-Access.
Syracuse was ranked fourth when it defeated Georgetown, ranked No. 7 and No. 12, 73-56, on Jan. 25.
ABOUT THE ORANGE
Syracuse is looking to get back on the winning track losing just its second game of the season on Sunday, 66-60, to Louisville. Despite the defeat, the Orange remained tied atop the BIG EAST standings at 11-2 in the league after Villanova's loss to Connecticut Monday.

SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
The Hoyas are 3-2 since losing at Syracuse earlier this year, including wins against a pair of top 10 teams in Duke and Villanova. However, they've also suffered losses to USF and Rutgers in that stretch.
The Hoyas balanced offense features four players averaging double-digit points: guard Austin Freeman (16.8 ppg), forward Greg Monroe (15.5 ppg), guard Chris Wright (14.2 ppg) and guard Jason Clark (10.8 ppg). Those four have started all 24 Georgetown games, as has forward Julian Vaughn (8.6 ppg.).
Monroe, who leads the Hoyas in rebound average (9.5 rpg) and blocked-shot average (1.8 bpg), had a squad-best 19 points in the team's loss at Rutgers on Sunday. His 3.7 assist-per-game average is second on the squad behind Wright (3.9).
Freeman has been especially effective in BIG EAST Conference outings. He's averaging 19.5 points a game and he is shooting .536 from the 3-point line.
THE SERIES
The Orange holds a 45-37 advantage in the all-time series. The Orange has captured five of the last seven and 10 of the last 13 series meetings. Georgetown is 20-10 all-time against Syracuse in games played in Washington, D.C. The Orange has lost the last two meeting at the Verizon Center, including an 88-74 defeat last season.
