SYRACUSE – The Orange plays host to its third in-state foe as Albany makes a trip to the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, December 7. Syracuse leads the all-time series, 2-0, defeating the Great Danes during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

Albany will have a new look in 2010-11, as first-year head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson takes the reins of the program. Former assistant coach Mary Grimes, who coached at Syracuse for five seasons, is on Abrahamson-Henderson's staff and will be on the Albany bench for the contest.

The Great Danes finished the 2009-10 season 11-19. UAlbany's Ebone Henry and Julie Forster were named to the 2009-10 America East All-Rookie team.
