SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse goes for its second consecutive win on Sunday when it hosts Binghamton on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. Admission to the game is free of charge.
The Orange has an overall record of 2-3-2 this season, including a 1-0-1 at home. The Bearcats enter Sunday's game with a 2-3 record.
THE SERIES
The Orange and Bearcats have met every season except one since 2002. Syracuse owns a 5-1-1 lead in the all-time series, including a 2-1 mark at the SU Soccer Stadium.
NEW YORK STATE OF MIND
Today's game marks the second of three consecutive games for Syracuse against opponents from New York state. The Orange has already faced two in-state foe this season - Colgate and Albany. SU came from behind to defeat both squads.
BELLINGHAM AND ROMAGNUOLO MOVE UP LIST
Senior Megan Bellingham and sophomore Tina Romagnuolo are now tied for 10th place on Syracuse's all-time goals scored list after their performances at Albany. Bellingham scored one goal to give her 12 in her career. Romagnuolo also now has 12 career goals after scoring twice against the Great Danes.
