Rowing in Boston Once Again

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Syracuse University women's rowing team returns to Boston for a pair of races this weekend. SU will battle No. 18 Radcliffe, rv Dartmouth and rv Minnesota in four races on Saturday. Depending on the results of Saturday's race, the Orange will either face No. 9 Ohio State or rv Louisville and Minnesota on Sunday.
The varsity eight race will be the fourth race on Saturday, taking place at 9 a.m. after the second varsity eight goals at 9:12 a.m. The second varsity four gets the day started at 8 a.m., followed by the varsity four at 8:36 a.m.
Sunday's schedule is broken into two series. Series one will feature Ohio State, the top two teams of the Radcliffe – Syracuse – Dartmouth varsity eight race and the top team of the Boston – Northeastern race. Series two features Minnesota and Louisville versus the third place team of the Radcliffe – Syracuse – Dartmouth varsity eight race and the second-place team of the Boston – Northeastern race.
This weekend will mark SU's third and fourth races this spring on the historic Charles River.
