CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Syracuse goes for its second consecutive win on Thursday, Sept. 1 when it takes on No. 6/11 Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Game time is set for 7 p.m. The Orange enters the contest with a 1-1 record, while the Eagles are 2-0-1.

Both Syracuse and Boston College had their games postponed last weekend due to weather conditions. The Orange opened the season by splitting a pair of games at the Embassy Suites Kick Off Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. Boston College started the season with a 1-1 tie against Boston University before defeating Fairfield and Rutgers by identical 1-0 scores.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and Boston College will meet for the fi rst time since 2007 on Thursday and the 11th time overall. The squads met every year from 1996-2004 when Boston College was a member of The BIG EAST Conference. The Eagles own a 6-3-1 advantage in the all-time series.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Three different players have scored goals for Boston College, including Victoria Dimartino, Alicia
Blose and Stephanie McCaffrey. Kristen Mewis and Rachel Davitt each have one assist this season.
Jillian Mastroianni has played every minute in goal for the Eagles. She has recorded 14 saves and
has a 0.31 goals-against average.

ORANGE REWIND
Sophomore Brittany Kinmond netted her first career goal on a penalty kick to lead Syracuse to a 1-0 victory against Florida Gulf Coast in the final game of the Embassy Suites Kick Off Classic last weekend. Kinmond earned the penalty kick when she was tackled in the box. Sophomore goalkeeper Brittany Anghel recorded made four saves for her seventh career shutout.
