SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse closes out its longest homestand of the season on Sunday, Sept. 25 whne it hosts BIG EAST foe Villanova at 1 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange enters the match with a 2-4-3 record, including a 1-2 mark in BIG EAST play. The Wildcats are 4-5-2, 0-3 in the conference.

SERIES RECORD
Sunday's game marks the ninth meeting between Syracuse and Villanova. The Wildcats lead the all-time series, 6-1-1. The Orange has not beaten Villanova in its last five tries, dating back to a 2-1 win against the Wildcats in 1998.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Katie Ryan is Villanova's leading scorer this season with 14 points, which tie her for fourth in the BIG EAST. Heidi Sabatura and Stephanie Myers are tied for second on the team with three goals apiece, while Sabatura has also recorded a team-high four assists. Jami Kranich has played every minute in goal for the Wildcats, capturing 37 saves and posting a .673 save percentage.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE ORANGE
Junior Tina Romagnuolo returned to the Orange lineup and recorded her second goal of the season in Syracuse's 3-1 setback against Georgetown on Friday at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Hoyas took the lead in the 21st minute and led 1-0 at halftime. The Hoyas added two more goals in the second half before Romagnuolo's goal in the 81st minute cut the lead to two. The Orange continued to apply offensive pressure but couldn't find the back of the net as the Hoyas registered the 3-1 victory.
ROMAGNUOLO CLIMBS THE CHARTS
With her second goal of the season against Georgetown, junior Tina Romagnuolo moved into a tie for seventh place on Syracuse's all-time goals scored list. She now has 15 career goals, which tie her with Natalie Galas (2001-04).
