MILWAUKEE, Wisc. -- Syracuse looks to return to its winning ways when it takes on No. 22/15 Marquette on Sunday, Oct. 14 in Milwaukee, Wisc. The Orange's four-game winning streak was snapped Friday at USF, giving it an 8-5-2 overall record and a 5-2-1 mark in league play. The Golden Eagles lead the BIG EAST's American Division with a 7-0-1 league record. Overall, Marquette is 11-2-2.
THE SERIES
Syracuse and Marquette meet for the eighth time on Sunday. Marquette leads the series 6-0-1. The lone tie came in 2007 when the squads played to a 0-0 stalemate in Milwaukee.
BIG EAST TOURNAMENT SEEDING AT STAKE
Both Syracuse and Marquette have qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament. The Golden Eagles have secured a bye to the quarterfinals. The Orange is currently in third place in the American Division standings. The top three teams from both divisions earn spots in the quarterfinals. The top two seeds from each division host the quarterfinals rounds.

Syracuse closes out the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 20 against St. John's at 4:30 p.m. The Orange's senior class will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.
