For the first time in her career, junior goaltender Kallie Billadeau has been honored by the CHA as the Goaltender of the Month for October. So far this season Billadeau has posted three shutouts, giving her five career shutouts. Â She has a GAA of 0.76 and a save percentage of .964. Billadeau ranks third in the nation in GAA (0.76) and fourth in the nation in save percentage (.964). Her three shutouts have her at second in the nation. She leads the CHA in both GAA and save percentage.

Billadeau has only allowed three goals in four games this season. All three goals came during her only loss of the season at UConn, 4-2. Billadeau has recorded a shutout in three of her four starts this season. The Minnetonka, Minn. native's three shutouts came at Penn State (6-0), against Quinnipiac (4-0), and at Connecticut (2-0). Her three shutouts this season ties her for first in the Orange's record book for shutouts in one season with Lucy Schoedel (2009-10). Her five career shutouts also ties her for first on SU's career shutout list with Schoedel (2008-10). Billadeau's three shutouts, combined with fellow Orange netminder Jenesica Drinkwater's one shutout, has broken the SU record of most overall shutÂouts in one season with four.

Billadeau has a career GAA if 2.90 and a save percentage of .906. She has a career record of 15-25-5.

The Orange is on the road this weekend at Union on Friday, Nov. 2nd (7 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 3rd (2 p.m.).
