PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Syracuse women's basketball's Brianna Butler was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Monday for her efforts in helping lead the Orange (10-1) to a 68-45 victory vs. Binghamton on Saturday at the Carrier Dome.

The freshman guard scored 12 points in Saturday's victory that ran Syracuse's non-conference home winning streak to 51 games. Butler made a career-high four 3-pointers on eight attempts, to go along with six rebounds, four steals and two assists.

The 2012 McDonald's All-American and native of King of Prussia, Pa. is averaging 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds through 11 games, all starts. She is shooting 31 percent (17-55) from behind the arc.

Butler is the second Syracuse player to win weekly honors from the BIG EAST this season. Senior center Kayla Alexander has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week twice as well as to the honor roll once.
