
Billadeau Named Goaltender of the Week

HAVERHILL, Mass.--Kallie Billadeau has been named the College Hockey America Goaltender of the Week for her performance against No. 10 Northeastern and New Hampshire last weekend. This is the 10th time Billadeau has been awarded a weekly honor by the CHA.
Billadeau stopped 60 of the 64 shots she faced over the weekend and allowed No. 10 Northeastern to score only one goal. She has a GAA of 2.02 and her .938 save percentage ranks eighth nationally.
Billadeau finished last season ranked fourth nationally and first in the CHA in save percentage (.940). Her GAA of 1.56 ranked eighth nationally and was the lowest average in SU history by nearly 1.0 goals. It ranked second in the CHA by one hundredth of a point.
The Orange take on Clarkson this Friday, October 11 in the 2013-14 home opener at 7 p.m. They will then travel to Potsdam, N.Y. to take on the Golden Knights on their home ice at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
