SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â Syracuse women's basketball senior center Kayla Alexander became the third player in program history to garner Associated Press All-America honors on Tuesday, being named to the AP's honorable mention squad. She joins Felisha Legette (1986-87, 1987-88) and Nicole Michael (2009-10) as Orange All-Americans.
Â
The AP named a first, second and third team, each with five members, and Alexander is one of 33 players earning honorable mention recognition.

The Orange was ranked in the AP Top 25 for seven-straight weeks, finishing the season at No. 22, while ranking in the coaches poll for 10 weeks in a row, also finishing at No. 22.
Â
Alexander rewrote the SU record book in her four seasons in Orange.
