2013 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women
PANEVEZYS, Lithuania -Â Syracuse women's basketball head coach Quentin Hillsman and incoming freshman Isabella Slim's Netherlands team has advanced to the classification round at the 2013 FIBA U19 Championship for Women in Lithuania.

The Dutch squad, for which Hillsman is in his third year as assistant coach and Slim is a starting guard, went 1-2 in the three-game eight-final round. After a 102-42 loss to the undefeated United States on Monday, the Dutch picked up a key victory on Tuesday, beating host Lithuania, 72-65, before losing on Wednesday, 73-61, to China.

In the first game of the classification round on Friday, the Netherlands (2-4) plays Serbia (1-5) at 2 a.m. ET.

After being held scoreless in an off shooting game against the Americans, Slim responded with an 18-point, five-rebound, four-steal performance in the win against Lithuania which included shooting 4-of-6 from 3-point range. In Wednesday's game against China, she scored seven points to go with three rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes.

In six games, Slim is averaging 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and is shooting 35 percent from 3-point range (11-of-31).
