Syracuse looking to stay unbeaten against Vermont
Following a win over CHA foe and No. 7 ranked Mercyhurst last Saturday, the Orange will step out of conference play for a pair of games against Vermont on Friday and Saturday.

-Â This is the third and fourth meeting between the two programs after they met for the first time in Burlington, Vermont last season.
-Â Syracuse won both games last season, each by one goal.Â

-Gilligan kept 'Cuse in the game after withstanding an early barrage from the Lakers, stopping 16 first period shots, including eight on Mercyhurst power plays.
Puck drop between the Orange and Catamounts will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, with game two coming on Saturday.
