Flanagan Becomes 9th All-Time Winningest Head Coach

Syracuse hockey head coach Paul Flanagan earned his 319th win on Saturday afternoon against Lindenwood which surpassed former Brown head coach Margaret Degidio Murphy and made Flanagan the ninth-winningest coach in women's college hockey history.Â
Currenty, Flanagan is the sixth-winningest active coach behind Bill Mandigo (Middlebury, Division III), Michael Sisti (Mercyhurst), Shannon Milley (Minnesota-Duluth), Mike Carroll (Gustavus Adolphus, Division III), and Mark Johnson (Wisconsin).
Flanagan became just the 10th coach in women's college hockey to reach 300 wins last season, also in a win against Lindenwood. The win was also his 70th at the helm of the Orange.Â
