Event will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon

SYRACUSE, N.Y – The 2015-16 Syracuse University women's basketball team will host an ice cream social on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center. The event will begin following Sunday afternoon's practice.

Practice will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the 'Melo Center on Sunday afternoon. At 1:30 p.m., the ice cream social will commence. Admission to the event is free and parking is also free of charge.

Syracuse opens its 2015-16 campaign on the road at Rhode Island on Friday, Nov. 13. Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m. in Kingston, R.I.
