Women's basketball hosts event for second straight year
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the second straight year, the Syracuse University women's basketball team will host its annual ice cream social event on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Manley Field House lobby.
Following practice on Sunday afternoon, fans will have an opportunity to enjoy some ice cream and meet the members of the 2016-17 Orange women's basketball program. The event will begin at 1 p.m. in the fieldhouse lobby and will run for one hour.
Admission to the event is free and parking is also free of charge. If one is interested in attending the event, please contact teamsu@syr.edu.
Fans can get their first glimpse of the 2016-17 team on Friday, Oct. 21 at Preferred Mutual Orange Madness. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Tickets are available for purchase online or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office.
