Orange looking to host first and second round contests in the Carrier Dome
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Following one of the best regular seasons in program history and a run to the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game, the Syracuse University women's basketball team is poised to make its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Orange could earn a top-16 seed and host first and second round games of the NCAA Tournament in the Carrier Dome. The tournament field will be announced on Monday, March 14. The selection show will be aired on ESPN and begins at 7 p.m.
Redshirt junior guard Brittney Sykes sat down with Cuse TV's Brian Higgins ahead of Selection Monday. She reflected on her journey back from two season-ending injuries and the possibility of playing NCAA Tournament contests in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome.
