SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Without a doubt, the 2015-16 campaign marked the most successful season in the history of the Syracuse University women's basketball program. Syracuse set program records with five wins against nationally-ranked opponents, 23 regular-season victories, and 30 overall wins en route to an appearance in the national final.

Syracuse returns four starters from a year ago, which includes two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree Alexis Peterson and All-Final Four recipient Brittney Sykes. In addition, head coach Quentin Hillsman is 11 victories shy of becoming the winningest coach in school history.
