Women's Hoops Ranked #24 in Coaches' Poll

LILBURN, Ga. – For the third straight week, the Syracuse women's basketball team ranks No. 24 in the country in the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Syracuse has appeared in the top 25 of each of the past 20 coaches' rankings releases, dating back to Feb. 2, 2016. It extends the program's longest streak of consecutive top-25 appearances in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
For the fourth week in a row, the Orange are among eight Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in the top 25 of the coaches' poll, joining No. 6 Florida State, No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 15 Duke, No. 17 Miami, No. 18 NC State, and No. 21 Virginia Tech.
In its next matchup, Syracuse will play No. 19/21 Virginia Tech in a top-25 clash on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in Blacksburg, Va. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
