Rowswell Tabbed as CHA Player of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - Syracuse forward Kelli Rowswell has been named CHA Player of the Week following the Providence series where she posted two goals and an assist. Rowswell leads the Orange in goals on the season with three, totaling five points through six games played.
The sophomore led the Orange to a 1-1 series split with the Friars after posting goals in back-to-back games. Rowswell opened scoring for Syracuse in game one, sneaking the puck over the glove over the Providence goalie to give Syracuse the 1-0 lead. She added to her points total on the night with an assist on the Orange's second goal, the game-winner by Brooke Avery.
Rowswell is riding a three-game point streak after scoring in the series finale against Wisconsin as well. With her second goal against Providence, the Winnipeg native tied her goal total from 2016-17.
Rowswell and the Orange continue their nine-game home stand Friday night when they host No. 9 Northeastern.
