Orange Fans Invited to Participate in Women's Basketball Theme Days

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Calling all youth, dog owners, students and basketball fans alike! The 2017-18 women's basketball schedule is full of game days recognizing you. From School Day with our local grammar school students to Dollar Day featuring $1 tickets, the opportunities for community participation are endless.
Fans can purchase tickets for these games online, by phone at 1-888-DOMETIX, or by visiting the Carrier Dome box office (Gate B) during normal business hours. See below for more information about each of our theme days.
Military & Employee Appreciation Day – vs. Morgan State - Nov. 10
Join us on Friday November 10th at 2pm to thank our Military and SU Employees for all that they do! Members of the military will be offered tickets for $2. All Syracuse University employees will also receive special recognitions from the women's team.
Dollar Day / Hometown Hero / IVMF Day – vs. Maryland Eastern Shore – Nov. 16
The general public is invited to attend the game for $1. Also, the women's basketball team will be honoring a hometown hero during the game. As a tribute, all members of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) are invited to attend the game for free.
School Day – vs. Hartford – Nov. 20
Syracuse University will be hosting over 5,000 grammar school students for an educational field trip. This will feature several activities with our student-athletes and grammar school students.
ACC- BIG 10 Challenge / Dollar Day – vs. Northwestern – Nov. 30
Come cheer on the Orange as they take on Big 10 challenger the Northwestern Wildcats! The general public can enjoy this game for just $1.
Youth Sports Day / Teddy Bear Toss – vs. Stony Brook – Dec. 3
Local youth sports teams are invited to participate in an all-sports clinic in the backcourt hosted by our student-athletes! The game will also feature a teddy bear toss. Bring a teddy bear to the dome and receive admission for $1.
Student Game of the Week / Dollar Day – vs. Colgate – Dec. 6
It's all about the Syracuse students! Watch for special game day information, especially student pass holders. The general public is invited to attend the game for only $1!
Daughter Day – vs. Drexel – Dec. 9
Bring your daughter to the game and participate in this memorable night. The game will include giveaways and activities to make the night special.
Dollar Day – vs. Georgia Tech – Jan. 4
Come and join the fun this Thursday night as the Orange battle it out with Georgia Tech! Get your game ticket for only $1!
Doggy Day – vs. Florida State – Jan. 7
Sponsored by Sit Means Sit, this day is sure to be a memorable one for 'Cuse fans and dog lovers! Bring your dog into the Carrier Dome and backcourt to participate in special activities for the fans and their furry friends. Pet owners must bring a leash, tags, collar as well as vaccination records.
Break the Attendance Record / Winterfest – vs. Pittsburgh – Jan. 21
Help us break our attendance record! Sponsored by CNY Chevy, join us for Winterfest in the backcourt to enjoy giveaways, special activities, food, music and much more!
Student Game of the Week / Dollar Day – vs. Clemson – Jan. 25
The general public is invited to attend the game and cheer on the Orange for $1 per ticket. Students are encouraged to attend the game to participate in special giveaways and challenges throughout the night.
Dollar Day – vs. Virginia Tech – Feb. 1
Join the fun and cheer on the women's basketball team as they take on Virginia Tech for just $1 per ticket!
Women in Sports / Play4Kay / WISE – vs. Louisville – Feb. 4
Join the women's basketball team for a memorable and empowering night as they honor Coach Kay Yow and all those battling cancer. Help the team raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. During this event, our women's sports teams will recognize and honor cancer survivors.
Dollar Day – vs. Duke – Feb. 15
The Orange invite everyone to come out and support their team as they battle it out against the Duke Blue Devils. Everyone can purchase a ticket to the game for only $1!
Senior Day / Alumni Weekend – vs. Boston College – Feb. 25
Syracuse University invites alumni to attend the game and help us in recognizing our senior members of the women's basketball team before the game. Senior citizens are also invited to enjoy the game with $1 tickets.
