Syracuse opens postseason play on Thursday night
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team ranks No. 20 in the country in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 21 nationally in the most recent Associated Press Poll. It marks the fifth straight week that Syracuse has appeared in the top 25 of both major national polls.
It marks the Orange's 25th consecutive appearance in the top 25 of the coaches' rankings, extending their longest streak in program history.
Syracuse will take on either North Carolina or Pittsburgh in the second round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament on Thursday night. Tipoff is scheduled is 8 p.m. at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C. The game will be available locally on tape delay on the YES Network and shown live on ACC Network Extra.
