Syracuse ranks No. 20/19 in the nation
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team continues its ascension up the two major national polls. Syracuse ranks No. 19 in the country in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll and checks in at No. 20 in the nation in the Associated Press Poll.
It marks the Orange's 22nd consecutive appearance in the top 25 of the coaches' rankings, extending their longest streak in program history. In addition, it is the team's highest rank in the AP Poll since Dec. 19, 2016.
Syracuse has won each of its past four contests, including victories against No. 14/14 Miami and No. 19/21 Virginia Tech. The squad has set a program regular-season record with four wins against nationally ranked opponents.
The Orange will take on No. 14/15 Duke in their next contest on Friday night. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. from Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C. The game will be shown on ACC Network Extra.
