In-State Clash Set for December 3

Syracuse hosts Stony Brook in the Carrier Dome
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team will host in-state foe Stony Brook on Sunday, December 3 in the Carrier Dome. It marks the third straight season that the two programs will meet on the hardwood.
Syracuse owns a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series between the two teams. Last year, the Orange scored a 78-60 victory at the home of the Seawolves on Nov. 18, 2016. Guard Desiree Elmore pulled down a career-high six boards against Stony Brook.
The 2016-17 Orange advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season, one of 15 programs nationally to do so. 2017 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman Team honoree Gabby Cooper leads a returning core that will join with one of the nation's top recruiting classes to form the 2017-18 squad.
Stony Brook finished the 2016-17 campaign with a 12-18 overall record. Rising senior guard Aaliyah Worley is the team's top returning scorer after averaging 4.8 points per game.
