Freshman Feature: Taylor Curtis

Redshirt sophomore Lindsey Eastwood spoke with the 2017-18 incoming freshman class to get all the insight on their likes/dislikes and the upcoming season. Here is her Freshman Feature:
Â
Taylor Curtis, or as everyone calls her "Curt", comes to Syracuse all the way from the desert of Arizona. However, the amount of snow here in Syracuse is nothing new for her as she went to high school at New Hampton School in New Hampshire.
Â
The 5 foot 7 inch forward followed her brother by taking up roller hockey as a kid. It wasn't long until she was introduced to ice hockey, after which she never looked back. The freshman has always looked up to Gordie Howe but if she could have dinner with anyone in the world she said it would have to be either, Eminem or P!nk.
Â
Before games, Curt likes to eat light so her go-to pre-game meal is a big salad. Typically, she can be found listening to rap or hip-hop to get pumped up for the game.
Â
Curt chose to come to Syracuse because she wanted to go to a school that could help her succeed academically and athletically. She looks forward to a new experience here at 'Cuse, meeting new people and playing on a new team.
Â
The best advice she has ever been given is, "if you don't know where you're going, you'll never get there".
Â
We are excited to have you on the team, Curt!
