2020 McDonald's All-America Nominee List
Some of the nation's top basketball players are headed to Syracuse University next fall but before then, they are making their mark on the high school circuit. Head Coach Quentin Hillsman signed the No. 4 recruiting class in the country in November and four of the Orange's five signees, Kamilla Cardoso, Priscilla Williams, Faith Blackstone and Khamya McNeal, have been nominated for the McDonald's All-America game.
Â
Cardoso and Williams are two of the top-25 players in the country halfway through their senior seasons. The ESPN HoopGurlz Top-11 duo was named to the 2020 Jersey Mike's Naismith Girls High School Midseason Team on Tuesday. Cardoso is the No. 5 overall player and top center in the Class of 2020 while Williams is ranked 11th overall and the No. 3 guard.
Â
The list will be narrowed down to 10 semifinalists on Feb. 4 and finalists on Feb. 18. The winner of the Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Trophy for Girls Player of the Year will be announced on March 10.
Â
Syracuse is one of four teams with multiple signees listed on the list of 25 standouts. Oregon leads the way with five signees while the Orange, UConn and Louisville all have two future players listed.
