SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 22 Orange have added another non-conference game to the 2020-21 schedule. Syracuse will host Penn State on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Sunday's game will be nationally-televised on ACC Network with Debbie Antonelli and Jenn Hildreth on the call.
Syracuse and Penn State will meet for the first 20th time in program history when the Orange welcome the Nittany Lions to the Loud House later this week. Penn State leads the all-time series 16-3 but the Orange are 2-1 against PSU under head coach Quentin Hillsman. Syracuse won the most recent meeting, 61-39 on Dec. 4, 2014 as part of the 2014 BIG TEN/ACC Challenge.
Penn State is 2-0 this season with wins over Coppin State and St. Francis (Pa.). The Nittany Lions will face Rhode Island at home Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. before heading to central New York for Sunday's game, which will be the first road game of the season for PSU.
