
Alexander Suffers Season-Ending Injury

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse redshirt senior Morgan Alexander will miss the remainder of the 2020 season after suffering a lower body injury on her left leg in practice on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The Adams, N.Y. native recorded seven points on four goals and three assists as part of the Orange's starting attack in the first four games of the year.

Alexander made her Syracuse debut last season after missing her first three years with four injuries to her right knee. She posted five points on three goals and two assists against Connecticut in the season opener and finished the year with 22 points (20 g, 2a). Alexander is pursuing her Master's degree in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

No. 7 Syracuse goes on the road for the first time this season when it takes on No. 6 Northwestern in Evanston, Ill. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
