Â
Â
- What has been the best part of coaching at your alma mater?
Just being back on campus and being in the community. It's more like seeing it through. I was apart of the group that started this "run", so its bittersweet to be back!!
 - What do you enjoy most about coaching basketball?
I enjoy the dynamic relationships with the players and developing the types of relationships where IÂ can teach them, push them to be their best and help prepare them for the next level.
 - Who on the current team, reminds you of your style of play from when you were in college?
I'd have to say a mixture between Naje, because of her IQ, leadership and toughness, and Chrislyn because she's quick, skilled and selfless.
 - How did playing at Syracuse prepare you for a professional career overseas?
Playing under Coach Hillsman was one of the best things that happened to me. When I played, a lot of our success was tied to how well I played, so I'm used to having a lot of responsibility. He taught me how to play under pressure, pushed me to be independent, taught me how to think the game and work hard.Â
 - Where is your favorite place you've been in the world?
Istanbul, Turkey
 - What is the biggest challenge of coaching collegiately in a pandemic?
Living in a pandemic is hard enough. You never know whats going to happen, when you could be shut down, etc. For me having had an amazing experience in college, I'm sad the girls aren't experiencing Syracuse University like I know they should because of the pandemic.
 - What is your favorite place to go in Syracuse for dinner?
Prime Steak House
 - If you could challenge any women's player in the history of the sport to 1-on-1 who are you going up against?
Diana Taurasi
 - What do you like to do outside of work/coaching basketball?
Lately I've been very interested in the stock market. But more so, I've just enjoyed being able to spend time with my family. I spent the last seven years missing so much because I played in Europe.
 - If you could live anywhere in the world and have unlimited amounts of money, where would it be and why?
I'd like to live in Tokyo, Japan
