The Syracuse ice hockey team returns to the ice tonight at RIT (6 pm, Stretch). The last time the Orange played was a weekend series against Robert Morris on January 22nd and 23rd.

Syracuse (2-6-1 overall, 2-4-1 College Hockey America) holds the all-time series advantage heading into the weekend (22-11-4). The Orange won the first meeting this season, 7-1.  Syracuse jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first period on goals by four Orange skaters. After the teams traded goals in the second period, the Orange added two insurance goals in the third for the 7-1 victory. Syracuse senior Emma Polaski scored two goals, junior Lauren Bellefontaine tallied a goal and three assists and junior Abby Moloughney added a goal and two assists.
