No. 8 Syracuse travels to No. 13 Boston College for an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. Fans can watch the game live on ACCNX through the ESPN app.
Saturday is the first time the Orange and Eagles meet this season, the two did not compete against each other in the fall season due to COVID protocols forcing the teams to postpone. 'Cuse is 8-5 overall and 3-1 this spring. The Orange are 1-1 in ACC play this spring with a win over No. 14 Duke and loss to No. 5 Louisville in overtime. Freshman Emily Streib is 3-1 in her first four starts in goal with a 1.22 goals against average.Â
Boston College is 6-5 overall and 1-2 in ACC play. The Eagles are 6-2 this spring and are coming off a 5-0 win over UMass on Wednesday April 7. BC's goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy is 4-5 in net with a 2.17 goals against average and .743 save percentage. In her last four appearances, Kennedy has only given up one goal total.Â
Following Saturday's match up the Orange return home to play a pair of ACC games against Virginia and North Carolina on April 16 and April 18, respectively. J.S. Coyne Stadium is closed to the public and no fans will be permitted to attend at this time.Â
