Syracuse will take a break in the College Hockey America portion of its schedule this weekend for a series at 15th-ranked Princeton at the Hobey Baker Memorial Ice Rink. The Orange (5-7-1) and Tigers (1-3) have played each other 10 times since the start of the Syracuse program in 2008-09. During the past two weeks, Syracuse has won CHA series against RIT and Lindenwood.

Primeau Nets Hat Trick
Sophomore Madison Primeau recorded her first career hat trick, joining 11 other Orange skaters who scored three goals in one game. Primeau has 16 career goals. Three Syracuse players have recorded two career hat tricks, including Victoria Klimek, Stephanie Grossi and Shiann Darkangelo.

Johnson's Block Party
Junior defensemen Hannah Johnson had eight blocks in the Lindenwood series, bringing her career total to 93 in 67 games. She ranks leads the CHA in blocks this season with 26 and is 17th on Syracuse's career record list. Senior Mae Batherson has 13 blocks this season and ranks 12th on the career blocks record list

Special Teams Strength
Syracuse's special teams units are performing at top national levels statistically. The Orange are ranked in the top 15 in the country and the top two in College Hockey America (CHA) in four special teams categories.
- Tied for first nationally and in the CHA with three shorthanded goals. Sarah Marchand, Sarah Thompson and Tatum White have tallied shorthanded goals this season.
- Syracuse is tied for fifth nationally and leads the CHA with nine power play goals. Sarah Marchand and Madison Primeau each have two power play goals, which ties for 15th nationally and second in the league.
- The Orange are 10th nationally in power play percentage and first in the CHA (.220).
- Syracuse ranks 14th in the nation and second in the CHA in penalty kill percentage (.867).
