Nineteen Earn CHA All-Academic Honors

Four Orange ice hockey student-athletes are 2021-22 College Hockey America (CHA) All-Academic Team honorees for the fourth time in their careers. Seniors Abby Moloughney and Arielle DeSmet, redshirt junior Marielle McHale and graduate student Jessica DiGirolamo are Syracuse's four-time selections and are part of the group of 19 Orange skaters to earn the distinction.

Six student-athletes achieved the honor for the third time, including Lauren Bellefontaine, Shelby Calof, Victoria Klimek, Brynn Koocher, Anna Leschyshyn, and Allison Small.  All six sophomores were named to the team for the second time, including Kambel Beacom, Rayla Clemons, Hannah Johnson, Sarah Thompson, Amelia Van Vliet, and Tatum White, and three were named to the team for the first time, including Erin Brousseau, Terryn Mozes and Madison Primeau, .

Each of these student-athletes earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in both semesters during the 2021-22 academic year.
The Orange won the College Hockey American (CHA) regular season championship and tournament championship in 2021-22 earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. 'Cuse finished the season with a 15-11-6 record.
