Teslak Repeats as CHA Award Winner

For the second week in a row Orange defenseman Rachel Teslak is the College Hockey America Defenseman of the Week. The graduate student earned the honor for her performance at #9 Cornell and in a two-game series at Boston University. Teslak scored two goals in Syracuse's 4-4 overtime tie on October 20th. In the three games, she had five shots and one block.

This season, Teslak has three goals and one assist, 18 shots on goal and nine blocks in nine games. A native of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Teslak joined the Orange prior to the 2023-24 season after four years at St. Lawrence.

The Orange have two games this week against Penn State on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 pm and Sunday, Oct 29 at 1 pm at the Tennity Ice Pavilion in Syracuse. Sunday will feature a Halloween Celebration and a post-game meet and greet autograph session with the team. All fans are encouraged to attend the game in costume.
