
Syracuse Hosts BC for Equality & Inclusion Day Sunday

The Orange (14-9, 5-7) host Boston College (14-11, 4-8) on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome for Equality & Inclusion Day. Fans unable to attend Sunday's game can watch live on ACC online or through the ESPN app.
On Thursday, Syracuse faced #13 Virginia Tech on the road. The Orange and the Hokies were tied 50-50 in the third quarter, but Virginia Tech took the lead with a 16-0 run to win. Orange were led by Dyaisha Fair who scored 20 points and matched her season high in rebounds with six. Georgia Woolley and Alaina Rice also scored in double-digits, pouring in 18 and 13 points, respectively. Virginia Tech's Elizabeth Kitley tied Fair for game high, 20 points and added 11 boards.
Syracuse last played Boston College on Jan. 12 and won 83-73 at the Conte Forum. Dyaisha Fair (25) and Alaina Rice (17) led the Orange led the Orange to victory. Dariauna Lewis, Teisha Hyman, and Asia Strong all scored 11 points. Boston College's Jo Jo Lacey led the Eagles adding 19 points.
Boston College lost to Notre Dame 72-59 on Thursday night. Three of the Eagles' players scored in double figures-- Maria Gakdeng (16), T'Yana Todd (13), and Andrea Daley (10). Notre Dame's, Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron, scored over 20 points each. Miles with 22 and Citron with 23. The Eagles have lost six of their last seven games.
