White Honored as CSC Academic All-District Selection

Syracuse junior forward Tatum White earned 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for her outstanding performance in the classroom and on the ice. A medicinal chemistry major, White is a two-time American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Scholar and a two-time College Hockey America (CHA) All-Academic selection. The 2022-23 alternate captain ranked second in the CHA in faceoff win percentage (.584) and was tied for sixth in shorthanded goals. She scored five goals and had nine assists last season.

In three seasons at Syracuse, White has tallied 34 points, including 12 goals and 22 assists. The Orange won the CHA regular season and postseason titles and earned an invitation to the NCAA Tournament during White's sophomore season.

A two-time Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll selection, White participates in bioengineering research at Syracuse. She served as the 2022-23 Syracuse Student-Athlete Advisory Inclusion Committee chair. Since 2019 White has coached youth hockey, training up to 30 players at a time.
