
Five Named to Inside Lacrosse Top 100 Freshman List

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Five members of Syracuse women's lacrosse freshman class have been named to Inside Lacrosse Magazine's Power 100 Incoming Freshman Rankings announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Molly Guzik (Spencerport, New York) is ranked No. 11 in the class, and Alexia Reber (Bryn Mawr, Maryland) comes in at No. 14. Mileena Cotter (Canton, Michigan) is No. 29, while Caroline Trinkaus (Ridgefield, Connecticut) is No. 39. In addition, Annie Parker (Portsmouth, New Hampshire) is a member of the Watch List.

Guzik is a two-time US Lacrosse All-America selection and played at the 2024 New Balance All-American Girls Senior Game last summer. She was a Rochester Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Super 16 selection and the D2 Monroe County Offensive Player of the Year.

Reber, who also played at the 2024 New Balance All-American Girls Senior Game, was a member of the 2024 USA Today Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year Watchlist. In 2022, Reber earned the ILWomen IDX Top Defender award.

Cotter was the 2024 USA Today High School Player of the Year after setting a state record with 215 goals, surpassing the previous record by 43 goals. Cotter was named a 2024 US Lacrosse All-American and competed at the 2024 New Balance All-American Girls Senior Game. She finished her career with 472 goals in just 49 games.

Trinkaus earned US Lacrosse All-America honors in 2024 and competed at the New Balance All-American Girls Senior Game last summer. She was named a CHSCA/US Lacrosse 2024 Connecticut All-American and earned All-FCIAC First Team honors.

Parker also earned US Lacrosse All-America accolades last season when she led Portsmouth High School to the Division I state championship. She was a New Hampshire Girls Lacrosse All-American and an All-State First Team honoree.
