The Syracuse cross country teams will compete in the NCAA Championships on Saturday. It's the fourth-straight season that both teams are represented in the field.

HOW THEY GOT HERE
The men won the NCAA Northeast Regional last week, while the women took second - both squads earned automatic bids into the field for their finishes at regionals.
Sam Lawler, Savannah Roark, Benne Anderson, Emma Eastman, Connor Ackley, Rylie Lusk and Alex Comerford were USTFCCCA All-Northeast Region selections following the meet.
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
The men's team qualified for the 16th-straight season, extending the nation's fourth-longest active streak. The women qualified for the fourth year in a row. Syracuse is one-of-nine schools that has qualified both programs in each of the past-four seasons.
The Orange men have a long history of success at the meet, most recently winning the NCAA Championship in 2015 and posting another top-10 finish last year. The 'Cuse men have won at least one championship (ACC, Northeast Region or NCAA) and/or finished in the top-10 of the NCAA Championships every year since 2009 (excluding the COVID season). 'Cuse has finished inside the top-10 at four of the last-10 championships on the men's side.
ORANGE ENTRIES
The women will see its seven runners selected from: Selma Anderson, Baneet Bains, Heidi Demeo, Emma Eastman, Beatriz Fernandes, Jayden Harberts, Madeline Heintz, Olivia Joly, Sarah Lawson, Rylie Lusk and Savannah Roark. Roark was an All-American two years ago at the meet.
The men will race seven from: Connor Ackley, Benne Anderson, Alex Comerford, Julian Franjieh, Assaf Harari, Sam Lawler, Kamari Miller, Ruben Rojas Betanzos and Ethan Wechsler. Lawler was an All-American last year.
